  2. I grew up in Waterford (near by little town), and I know exactly where this is. When I was younger, driving by this place would always amaze me and id love to stare at how beautiful and peaceful the yard was. I would most certainly want to live out my golden years at such a wonderful place.

  4. A truly beautiful place. The pictures do not do it justice. I lived and worked in Muskego a few years back and I have to say it is a nice place to live. Quiet country atmosphere with views to die for.

  6. I've worked with Maria for almost a year now, and I can't think of her without smiling. She brings joy and a sense of humor to the gentle care of those she serves. The beauty and intimacy of her facility will surely bring comfort to those who find the world sometimes too large and confusing at this stage of their life.

I lost both my parents when my life was just starting to get interesting. Every day of my life I would always think, in tears, what my parents would be doing by now. Would they need a lot of help when they get old? Would one of them suffer from an irreversible dementia/Alzheimer's? I just couldn't stop my self from grieving. When I was ten years old I remember my grandfather's sister would always get lost and she would end up going to our home. Every time she was in our house she felt reassured because it was the most familiar place where she could find comfort, safety, security and love that she needed. Not to mention she was loved by everyone in our family, even the neighbors. During those times I couldn't help thinking my grandfather's sister was going crazy. I didn't know that she was lost and confused or suffering from dementia, no one explained it to me. I worked as a caregiver for 16 years now and I've learned about and experienced the aging process and the feeling of getting old and confused. I wish I had known this back then during the situation where my grandfather's sister would constantly get lost from her home. If I had known I would have always been by her side, giving her comfort, and I would have never left her alone. There is a joy in my heart when taking good care of the elderly, especially those who suffer from dementia or Alzheimer's. I completely forget the sadness in my heart about my parents leaving me so soon. Every time I care for the elderly and their needs I feel that my life is so complete. My name is Maria and this is my story and my mission.
